Les Vaughn up close and personal. That's his M.O.
Les Vaughn is one of very few remaining "Real Cowboy singer songwriters" on the planet. He can and does, although, sing many different styles of music including Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, Sons Of The Pioneers, Johnny Horton,Marty Robbins and more. His repertoire includes many more artists and styles including some Traditional Gospel songs as well as his own originals.
In his early years and halfway through his teenage years he lived and worked on his dad's 80 acre dairy farm in Eastern Oregon. He was a farm boy/cowboy from early on. He was singing by age
2 & 1/2 with his sisters, brothers and his very talented mother.
He performs usually two to four times a week at local venues (Hood River, Or. Portland,Or./ Vancouver Washington) and has become very well known throughout the West Coast. He has traveled and played in both Austin and Nashville. His music has been digitally sold in over 72 countries including Russia, China, and Australia.
Many say Les sounds exactly like Johnny Cash. others claim he has an Elvis sound and he, in fact, performs a lot of the songs by both very famous music heros. He likes his own originals and feels he does them best of all.
